Right now the car is back at the body shop having some touch up's done, and a final wetsand and buffing out of the paint. I get it back tomorrow, and it goes up to get the convertible top put on, on Tuesday. I will have it for Saturday for the My. Holly Car Show. I plan on attending the cruise they have at 9 pm and will be getting rid of some rear tread. Its a good show, however its pre 1976 vehicles, but overall a great show. Anyone who wants directions let me know, its a great show and there is always a good turnout. Good Food, Flame throwers, jet cars, monster trucks....good stuff. Thanks

Jon

WOW 1500, Youre lucky you put that its not supposed to be an insult because id be looking for you tonight to kick your ass. But 1500 is NOWHERE close to what I would take for this car. Thanks though.

Thanks man, thats many months of sanding and body work, but its still not perfect. Ill get a few pics of the engine bay, they will be a little dated but you will get the drift. Yeah it cruises nice, except for I got screwed when i got the trans. I thought it was an aftermarket converter, but its stock. Stock Converter + Big cam=a little sluggish  Â*That will all change once my ATI converter comes in

fawkin badass man...u GOT to bring that beast up to RU sometime

bad64chevelle 05-08-2005 11:13 PM

It will be around man, dont worry. Once i get back from Hershey with it, the new converter in, and whatnot it will be all over the place. From wednesday night (5-11) to the morning of May 21st its going to be a mad dash to get alot of stuff done for the show. Trying to get noticed by someone out there, but doubt its gonna happen. BTW ill be in the 21 and under category at the show.

that paint is popping. only problem now is that the blemishes in the chrome show more that the paint is almost perfect... looks like you've got a cooupla trim pieces missing, too. anyway, it's well on its way.

bad64chevelle 05-09-2005 09:59 PM

The blemishes in the chrome are water spots. I had washed the car and it dried too fast. If I polish the chrome its perfect. The Trim pieces are all on now, all except the rocker mouldings. Thanks!
