Went to the Quick8 race yesterday at Atco and what a day. The track was real loose in the morning and 3 engine explosions within an hour or so certainly didn't help any. Some of the racing highlights were a Pro Mod car doing test runs, two nitro funny cars, a nitro dragster, a few Pro Stock cars, a nitro Pro Stock Harly, a Hayabusa ran an 8.10@186, a 9 second alcohol injected........................snowmobile?, an AMG E55 running 11.2x's........and got beat by a Jetta (but the AMG moved on because they both broke out), and by far the most increadible save ever whitnessed. A red Mustang was haulin ass when at just past half track he lost control and went into a spin at over 150mph. He passed through the traps BACKWARDS at what looked like 150 and after about 2 1/4 spins he came to a stop without hitting anything. I couldn't believe it. After a few hours it looked like he was back out there running again. I know it was cought an tape so the video should be floating around. All in all, good day.
