another email with GMPP....
this time asking them about exhaust manifolds for the ZZ572:
"Thank you for visiting the Performance Parts website. Thank you for your email. For information regarding exhaust manifolds for the ZZ572 crate engine, please contact your local GM Performance Parts Dealership. The professionals there have the latest technology and GM Performance Parts product information and would be in the best position to assist you. To locate a GM Performance Parts Dealer in your area, please access the locator feature at the Performance Parts website within www.gmgoodwrench.com. Please note, when you contact us via email you are contacting the GM Goodwrench Internet Support Team. We assist with general GM Goodwrench inquiries, (eg. dealer locations, phone numbers), however, we are not certified technicians. For this reason we ask you to contact your nearest GM Performance Parts Dealership and speak with the professionals there. Thank you for your inquiry. Regards, Goodwrench Internet Response Team" I don't think they like me. They don't want to answer my questions. |
Try telling them a basic out line of your plan to put the motor in a 4th gen. That way they can't use the "we don't know what you are doing with it" excuse.

nah, they really aren't techs and really can't answer technical questions. much better off emailing your local dealer (yeah right) or your favorite mechanic. or look for a website about 572s in 4th gens. i'm sure there has to be a forum, somewhere...

:stupid: all you're doing is beating a dead horse

Did you mention what year and model vehicle you were putting it into?
Did you mention if it would stay N/A or progress to a power adder? Did you mention track only car or street car? Without specifics.... how can you expect them to comment? I deal w/ technical questions via email also..... the more info I am provided.... the better answer one will get. If it is a vague question, "speak with your dealer as they are in the best position to review your concerns." |
