Just 3 more members until #500 :-D I printed out some flyers out and plan on doing some flyering around the area.

Just my $.02, the amount of registered users is a totally useless number, its all about the active users, and the ones that show up and activly participate in club activities.

Some people just join, and forget their paswords and they never come back :?

He's got a point ...... I remember browsing some users at TGO and there are pages of names that registered and had 0 posts.

I do it too, sometimes to view posted pictures on other forums you need to login. So i register and view pics and never go back.

You got a point BUT newcomers get a good first impression when they see 500+ members

I prefer quality over quantity - but I still won't bitch much at lurkers. I do it on some boards. I think I only have 2 or 3 posts on TGO. It would be nice to have every member actively involved in all club activities, but it's never gonna work out that way.

Tim and I started this club for car lovers, not for people who like to post on forums. If someone joins just to keep an eye on the tech section for ideas, so be it. We just helped a fellow enthusiest......
