70MPH+ Rain = Not fun
So the other night I was comming home on the parkway. I was doing about 70-80 as there was dry pavement. About 5 minutes in, all of a sudden it started to rain like a mother****er. All of a sudden, I feel my car start to pick up. Now mind you ive never been in a car thats hydroplaning. I try to keep the wheel straight as possible while slowly getting off the gas. before I know it, im practly sideways in 2 lanes. Somehow I recovered from that. Then a few more times while doing 40, the rear end would kick out in turns. God damn. Stupid camaro in the rain.

Werd dude...even my car started to lift up. That was pretty crazy. I was trying to watch the storm, but all of a sudden my steering wheel started to float.
Combine ****ting conditions, electronic numb steering, and ****** Bridgestone's = disaster. Time to drop some buck and get new BFG's. |
You talkin about friday? I was coming north on the parkway from pt pleasant and that rain SUCKED. to make it worse, in front of my was a silver honda ridgeline who just happened to blend in the the rain... and the ******* didn't put his lights on. So while I was following him to see where the road went, at times i found myself going "oh ****... where is he..." and hoping to not hit something

reminds me of the time iw as on 287 going about 40 in light snow...and my car just started to feel like it was floating. i gave it 1/4 throttle and it dropped into 3rd, and the tires just spun...sheet of ice on the road, but you couldnt even see the ice, it was crazy.
