Lets have a Somerville/Rutgers group going. All are invited.
 

I have only made it to 1 car show in somerville this summer which was last friday. I would have made more but you guys know about the F***ing mother nature showing her face on fridays. The point is, I want to get a big group going, Expanding the existing Rutgers group that i slowly started. Of course i am going to need all of your help. All you have to do is show up. Nothing more, nothing less. I am hoping the rutgers group reads this as well as who ever goes to somerville. I want to get a group or club going. Strength in numbers matter. If possible, lets all try to meet at somerville on fridays at around 5-7 PM if you could. You don't have to bring the f-bodies with you, Just show up and meet me some place where i can take down your name and contact info. Once i get this going, i feel confident that i can get a good size group together. If possible, it would be nice for any and all to show up on fridays at somerville to meet some where there. If your are in, reply to this post. And then maybe we can get a meet in progress some where in the Somerset County area on a sunday or saturday. I was thinking of adding onto Fuddruckers on rt 22 or the idea about meeting in the Dunkin Donuts lot on Easton Ave. Or some where else. I need some replies here though. Come this sept, i am flyering cars again for the possible sept/oct meet at rutgers once again. If you want to help, reply to this. I may even go as far as to get on your nerves so that i can get a response. J/K but then again, we should get this going. So please reply to this and give some feedback. By the way, at somerville, i am the 98 red camaro with a black air induction hood with black headlights and chrome rims. Approach me at the show if you want to join. I look forward to meeting any and all of you.

by the way, this will be a group, and a gathering. We need some consistency to get a group started. I realize everyone has different hours of work an what ever else as do i, but the more you guys post, the more i can get a feel for understanding when you are all free to do something and we can get a good turnout.

Well, this friday im gonna do my best, but it depends on what time i get out of work. I am leaving for the Outer Banks saturday at 1 AM so im gonna see how i feel as of 5-6ish on friday. If anything ill bring the Z up so i dont have to worry about getting the Chevelle out, gassing her up and worrying about the temp gauge in this weather. If not this friday Two fridays from now ill be there!

Hey, whats up redbandit. i just wanted to know about some of these meets. im pretty much been here before on this site but lost contact of it.. i thought it used to be www.njfbody.com but maybe i could be wrong. well anyway i found the site and had to make up a new account forgot the old one. i live in bayonne, nj and im only an hour away from englishtown, rt. 22, and some other places. im close to passaic, clifton, secuacuas, newark, jersey city, tunnel, sayerville, woodbridge, and others too. i need to know when you guys are gonna have these meets. i never been to one, and im like pissed because eventually im selling my toy car, but i would like to come to some of these events before i do. please get back to me asap, becuase the car is only on the insurance for another few months till november, and thats a rap. thanks!! :)

thats great but i hate to tell you but i dont know where that place is..island drag way? i only know of englishtown raceway park. more info or derections to this place would be great and ill be there. does it have a site?

i'm always fartin around on these boards, i just dont post up very often. this forum is a real tight group and everyone knows everyone. its kinda hard to throw your 2 cents in. i'm def in though, i'd like to be a regular :D

I'm just gettin a little sick of seeing the Nissan Maxima and Ford Focus gatherings and never any F-Body gatherings around here

welcome. i'm not redbandit but maybe i can help. i go to rutgers and there are a coupleof fbody guys at rutgers or at least in the area. we just started a weekly meet at rutgers brunswick in the parking lot adjacent to the grease trucks on college ave wednesday nights at 10pm. we usually get a good turnout and this week should be good cause jon may be bringing his chevelle up to school. i'll be there. i'm the fat kid with the big head and glasses and the silver LS1 z28 with black wheels. you'll see me down there a little early to get a good spot and try to block off as many spots as possible. try to come, its alot of fun and the guys on this board are real cool. two weeks ago was the first meet i went to and i already know alot of the guys by first name. hope to see you there!

The grease truck gathering is not one to miss. Check out the posts about it in the Lounge. All of the guys (and girls...:)) are real cool, at least the ones from our club. The ricers in the lot on the other hand......

ill be there wednesday night. No Chevelle. But ill bring the camaro with mismatching wheels 8)
