Look what's in my backyard
 

Today had to clean out my dads things from my grandmothers house so we can sell it (she passed away in October) A lot of tools, chevy heads, holley carbs, 400 sbc, and my dads '65 Stingray. It has a worked 327, 3.7X rear, bunch of goodies. Right now it has stock manifolds to run the side exhaust, but when he ran headers with true duals back in the day he ran 12.xxx on street tires. He bought the car wrecked when he was 18 and did all the work himself. It's going in our garage and the 69 RS/SS 396 pace car Camaro will get moved to where my IROC is. The 69 needs to be restored though, I'll prolly snap pics of that tomorrow. Here are some pics of the vette

i knew you guys were caked up, but that is absolutely amazing. at least now i know you weren't that pissed when i didn't buy your RS and bought my '69 instead... :lol: :lol: 8)

thanks for the compliments 8) . and actually Jim, I was pissed..that punk never showed up after you and from then I had no luck selling the car until October lol I did however manage to get those brakes fixed before the car was sold :lol:

but surely you can appreciate my choice... i felt really bad about it. it was complete happenstance that i went the wrong way to the bank the next day to make the deposit and the '69 was out by the road. not like i planned it or anything. trust me, i know the woes of trying to sell a car and who's coming back tomorrow and who's got to ask their dad/wife/homosexual-lover for permission. it sucks. i felt better after you sold it. :D
