fouling plugs

well the camaro runs now but its fouling plugs and running really rich, im thinkin theres still something not right in the ecm....its from an 88 350tpi in a firebird gta goin into a 305 tpi camaro, with a jet chip for the camaro. could it have something to do with the larger injectors 24lbs vs 19lbs? i duno where else to go, my mechanic pulled up a code for the MAF but i doubt theres anything wrong with that

if you have 24 lb injectors in it now, and the computer is set up for 19, that is most likely the problem, its dumping way too much fuel. a good place to start would be to find a ecm for the engine, if ya have a 305 tpi in there, dont use a 350 tpi ecm. just get everything thats ment for the car first, then have it tuned for your cam that might be in the motor, injectors. start there, if you are still fouling them, then search further. oh yeah, prior to doing the ecm swap, just double check your base timing is set right. this is a very tough question to answer because i cant sit there and turn the key and see how long it takes to crank, check timing, hear how it sounds, see which plugs are fouled, and view everything. and if your mechanic cant figure it out, try taking it to someone else. it very well could be the maf sensor however, you have to view the readings on it and go from there.
