New to the fourm...getting new opinions of problem

95Z----with stock built bottom end with only change from stock components is 030 lightweight forged aluminum pistons....cc305 cam...AFR heads......stock intake not port matched (thinking thats a problem right there)....stock fuel system.......full exhaust system with LT headers...Dyno only presented 320 RWHP.....combination should have produced more i thought....anyway.....i can't even get the 320 down the track...seems like around the 60ft mark to 1/8 mile...i lose all my power...what would cause that........Oh....re-built level 10 trans with 3000 stall also....back to a re-built rear with 4.10's............WHAT COULD BE ROBBING ALL THAT POWER.....also got it dyno tuned already...is it right?..I don't know?

If it's not popping up a code and it's falling on it's face from the 60 to the 1/8 mile I'd say it's the tune. The 4.10's and 3000 stall would hide even bad tuning so it's hard to pin point.
320rwhp is pretty good for that combination assuming off the shelf AFR street heads. The other thing is the stock fuel system. I'd say that's your biggest hang up. With stock fuel pump it's hard to believe it's even supporting your 320rwhp! I'd get a walbro 255lph pump. If the injectors are stock than that's also a huge issue. Stock injectors can only flow x amount of hp worth of fuel. They also can't provide enough accel enrichment when it's needed (snap the throttle open fast). Did the dyno tuner even recommend upgrading the injectors and pump? If not, fire him.

any tuner suggestions

I didn't like the tune from start to finish.....put it this way i raced it before the tune, got it tuned and gained a supposed 50-60 rwhp and got no time change at the track....hows that for a kick in the ass.....i believe the actually tune before and after numbers were 259 before and 318 after....any explaination??????....i will be changing the fuel pump BTW...and as for the injectors...i was assured they can handle a lot more HP before needing replacement.....the fuel pump was more of a concern....

lol sounds like my cartek tune

Thats where this all started

That shop did a LT install and some RR's.....they failed at both...not only did i get only 20 mintues away before i shot the push rods down into the block but they also stripped my heads trying to get the header bolts in.......that was the beginning of my downfall.....

Whoa....sounds like a pretty crappy place.

320rwhp is around 370-380hp at the flywheel. Do you really think for one minute that injectors made for 275hp can flow an extra 100hp without stressing? The injectors are too small, it's that simple. They'll go static (stuck open) at higher RPM and give you (and your tuner) no control over the fuel delivery.
You can get away with 24# injectors if you run a high fuel pressure. Go from 43.5psi to 53psi and that's like running 26.5# injector.

OK then.....

Which injectors should i put in........also i'm about the change the fuel pump....Is there anything to be said about the Holley 255 FP......what are you guys using......
