im looking for a rear for my 3rd gen.. is the one your selling Posi? and will it bolt up?

A 4th gen 3.42 rear should be a posi from the factory, and it will bolt directon into your 3rd gen. You will have to run rear wheels with a different backspacing though, the 4th gen rear is wider.

what do i have to do to convert my rear brakes to disc? does it have to be done or can i bolt my drum brakes to the new rear?

you would have to get new brake lines for the rear end, and you would have to get a new proportioning valve for a 4 wheel disk setup.

i guess i forgot to give him a price for the formula..i'd like $1200 for the whole car..i know i can get that and then some parting it out so i feel that is fair, i think the 3.42 rear should be leaving tomorrow around 1pm.. but in case it doesn't..yes it is a posi and will bolt in to a 3rd gen as some of the guys already explained for me (thanks btw Â*8) Â*) but you would have to run 4th gen wheels in at least the rear

the formula has dents and dings most of the way around..the spoiler needs replaced..lil surface rust on the hood and the pass rear quarter where it meets the rear bumper cover, interior is dirty, drivers seat has afew rips...as far as what work it needs..its in a shop right now to give me a complete rundown of everything..seems to be running alil rich, and the steering wheel has more play then i like (it wasn't the brightest but i had it up to 110~ and it didnt feel at all as solid as it should have..not even close to what my 98 formula feels like at 140..again a stupid number and nobody should do that)
