Well you have to expect some kind of flak from mustang owners when posting a link to a non-mustang site. Your friend was using someone elses car club webspace to promote their own stuff. While you'd hope people would be mature enough to simply skip something they have no interest in, I would also question the wisdom of posting a NON MUSTANG CLUB on a Mustang board.

Do what most other new club directors do - seek out like-minded clubs and events and promote the new club.

well, it's not like he went on an import board trying to promote his domestic car club. rustnags are domestic. i see his point, but also expect to get razzed no matter what you post on a rustnag board.

Thats a lil crazy for a reaction.....There wasnt a rude thing your friend said at all.

there has been some discussion about an f-body vs mustang thing involving the club next season. this may be the perfect set of numb nuts to lite up on the 1320. then again, aren't they all? :D

well...one thing he said was that its a place for people to go and not read through all the mustang crap...wouldnt you be annoyed if someone said they didnt want to come here and read all the fbody crap? it would make no sense...if he doesnt want to read it, why is he on that board?

he put NMR cuz he knows alot of thos guys are hardcore mustang owners and if it doesnt directly invovle the mustang, they get madd so w/e they dont wanna join it cool, his car will smoke em

and they would have flipped out had he not told them about it. freakin disgustang owners. i owned a 4.6 today so lovely at the track today and this just made that victory so much sweeter
