Please 'splain: Dragonball Z haircut?
I waz weeding thru some posts and saw some things that I don't understand. So I figgered a new post would get me answers and be easier on my old eyes. So, here are my questions:
1. What is a "Dragonball Z haircut?" 2. These Italians w/ the Dragonball Z haircuts, where do they come from? 3. What is the purpose of these Italians w/ the Dragonball Z haircuts? 4. Are these Italians w/ the Dragonball Z haircuts a more modern rendition of the classic Italian "Guido" of the 80s and 90s, or a totally different animal? Thank you, u b g |
Question 1) what is the hair cut:
normal hair http://www.dragonballmaster.com/Specials/Trunks/18.jpg dragon ball z hair http://www.dragonballmaster.com/Specials/Trunks/17.jpg question 2) where do they come from: they come from everywhere. They are simply preppy italian kids with bad hair styles. question 3) what is their purpose: when I figure that out I'll let you know. question 4) New age guido?: yes |
Well said on all counts Ian. Mad props to you......yo.

the Gottis make us "real italians" look bad...<rant>
"What It Means to be Italian" by John Barbieri The view of the Italian today is very skewed. Such groups as the Gottis, with their spiky hair, whiny demeanors, and "tough guy" attitudes because of their inherited last name, make all Italians chringe. And the sad part is, it is rubbing off on society. Teenage boys now have the urge to turn their hair into that of a DBZ character. Why? Do you look tougher with spiked hair? Are you trying to control the hair gel population? Did a bottle of hair spray kill your mother? Whatever the reason, real Italians do not spike their hair up. When real Italians do use hair gel, like myself, they slick it back, to give that little bit of a Godfather look. Or they don't use any hair product at all, which is the real Italian hair style. An Italian boy is supposed to grow up respecting his mother and father. If I ever yelled at my mother the way the Gottis do, she would smack me into the middle of next week. And what's with the huge chains. I know Sicilians are considered "1/2 black", but this is ridiculous. Save the bling for the rappers and put on a gold chain passed down from your father, whose father gave it to him, and so on. And the wearing all black, save it for when you go to a funeral. Italians do wear other colors. And learn to speak the language a little bit. And I don't mean, "fuggedaboudit"or "va fungool." Learn to have somewhat of a convo with a fellow Italians. And whatever happened to a father taking his young son down to the coffe shop, to watch a soccer game, have some coffee, and meet his friends who all say how big you have gotten. So if I any Italians can hear this, put down the gel and hairspray, put away your bling, tell your mom you love her, and get a cup a coffee with your father. Good nite, and god bless </rant> |
well said.

except for the fact that most italians do in fact gel their hair up, i would agree with that i guess.
most of the "italians" around here really arent italian just to let you know. i havent found a single "italian" who can actually speak italian, or knows anything about modern day italy. people think its cool to be italian, so they pretend and make ***** up. |
