Garage Weekend

Any else spend their weekend in the garage? Here's my list of what was done:

Changed Brake Pads
Painted Calibers
Installed new head unit
Installed Omnifi MP3 Player in car
Did free Sharpie Engine Mod
Washed Car
Fixed Misc things

All in all, I think it was a pretty active weekend. In 2 weekends, I wanna paint my rear drum brake thingies. I also wanna install a power antennae.

And by the way, for those that don't have one, Pepboys is having a clearance on car covers. I got a $30 car cover for $7.

I spent all day saturday washing, waxing, polishing, and the like on the Chevelle for a car show sunday. It was a good time, had multiple people make me offers on the car but I am not selling it at this point. One dude who comes to the shows i usually go to comes and bumps his offer up every time he sees me. I just figure if I hold off for a while his offer will get rediculus enough for me to sell it lol. Next weekend = 96 Z28 tear down :D

mine was spent at two different tracks. US-13 at the ass end of delaware and cecil county in maryland. Great weekend, lots of drinking, lots of racing (not typically in that order), and I came home with some money :)

You know, where you color in the letters on the top of the engine block with a sharpie :)

It looks pretty neat.

On a different note, it's all nill because of this weekend. This is a repost from cv6.com:

The car in front of me slams on their breaks and they make it ok. I slam on my breaks and I made it ok. I actually still had about a foot or two of space. The truck behind on the other hand didn't make it ok. They ended up nailing my car in the back which also ended up pushing me into the guy in front of me.
This was on 76E towards Philly. Latest info is that I am officially not at fault, so I don't have to pay for anything.

The reason I'm posting this here as well is because I'm wondering if you guys know of any body shops in the South Jersey area that can look at the car. I'm waiting for her insurance to call back, and I'm assuming they're going to ask me to get estimates so I want to find somewhere that won't do a ******** job.

Thanks guys ~

No garage time spent for me this weekend!

I spent it with my lady, and it was good.

(the car sat in the driveway taunting me)

I actually worked on the Z28 this weekend too. I fixed the headlight that was out..but that was only because i got pulled over because of it

I got the driver's side header back on and fired the car for the first time in ~ 2 months. Found out that the timing is all kinds of messed up though, but that's an easy fix.
