my pioneer took a crap on me after about 2 1/2 years. It really pissed me off cause it went in and out of the shop 5 times and they never could fix it and pioneer would never replace it.

theres an electronics place up on scotch road eric, past curtis that i took my old head unit to. Im sure they work on larger stuff as well, but ask them how much to fix it...im sure they probably charge upwards of $75/hr so depending on how much you can get a new receiver for it may or may not be worth it.

thats the place mine went to...

I got a Pioneer SX-434 outta someones garbage. Its pimp. Blue backlight with red tuning dial. And its from the 80s (sounds better than friends big ass new reciever)

140 Scotch Road, Ewing, NJ 08628 Phone: (609) 883-7555 Eric, it's right between the light at Scotch and Upper Ferry, and the church. They are a bit expensive, but they can do good work. Give them a call and explain the problem, they are pretty honest when letting you know whether or not it's worth it to have it fixed. - Justin |
I went through a local Radio shack a couple years back...... it was about 75 to fix... hope that helps.
