Damn Mercedes technology!
:x
Ok.... if there is no one in the front seat (due to lack of weight) the passenger side air bag is turned off/ you also don't need to have the seat belt clicked on. When you get to a certain weight... the passenger side air bag becomes active and it searches for a locked seat belt. The weight of a couple shirts and a 10 lb nitrous bottle w/ 6 lbs of nitrous is enough to get a reading...... so the entire way to a local shop the car was beeping and yelling at me because I refused to click the seat belt on. btw..... hi craig  |
Sounds like James is getting ready for a race to the 11's.....too bad the tune sucks.

The 2005 Toyota Camry does that as well. My laptop in the leather bag sets off the sensor as well. Very annoying.
</looks longingly at the Trans Am> Such simple technology. |
haha i had the same thing happen to me in my dads 05 Silverado over the weekend. I had my helmet (from friday night at atco) and a bunch of tools in a plastic bag on the front seat and i couldnt figure out why it was telling me to have the passenger fasten their seatbelt.

craig's gunna get :owned:
|
why not just click in the seatbelt?
