yeah i heard about that and saw it on their site. anyone know why?

ShitOnWheels 10-06-2005 06:23 AM

the price to rent the track according to the thread a while ago about it.

BigAls87Z28 10-06-2005 11:36 AM

Because since the demise of the Fbody, SLP is slowly losing more money then it wants too, with so so products at crazy prices. Why spend that cash when you could go elsewhere.

i like that last part. they are offereing a discount on parts ordered during the operating hours of the "event". how does that work? run the car and go to the vendors that aren't there to order stuff?

btw, how much does renting out e town cost.
like njspeeder said, there were a crap load of people and wasn't it like $20 to enter and $15 to watch.
maybe they think that this year was going to be bust or something

I think it was more, something like $30 to run, $20 to watch.

NJSPEEDER 10-06-2005 10:40 PM

renting e-town is a retarded amount of money for a saturday. when i asked about it years ago it was $10k. i can't imagine how much it is now.
they are by far the most expensive track in the area and some of the least helpful people i have ever tried to work with.
