anyone got any motors sitting around they wanna part with?
 

does anyone have any motors at home? 305/350/lt1, whatever, that they would be willing to give away or sell for very inexpensive or trade for something? im just looking for something to rebuild.
id really like an lt1, but like i said, i only have stuff to trade, no cash

i have a 305 tbi motor for sale out of a 91 firebird still hooked up to a 700r4 trans

i think the only thing left from my old motor that's still good is the bare block...but you're welcome to take whatever is left...it's currently sitting at justin's house tho

I have a 93ish (NON LT1) 350 outta a bigger truck. Only thing thats good is the block which has 30,000 miles on it and needs a hone. The crank ****canned and took a rod with it so it sat at a GM dealer until I got my hands on it. The heads are now ported since i played around with a port/polish set one weekend. Its a 2-bolt main block. When I can get it out of the shed if you want it come get it! Take it easy

Mike, if you want this it's yours. Don't need to trade anything. It's sitting next to my car, just getting in the way. 305 roller short block, crank and rods may still be ok, not sure how much water has gotten into it.
