WTB...93-97 camaro hood, any color in good condition

im looking for a lt1 camaro hood, color is not important but it must be in good condition. my friend is selling his 97 camaro which has a 4" cowl hood, and i'm gonna see if he'll swap me the hood for a newly painted stock hood plus some cash. I want the cowl hood for my z28, so, if you have a stock 93-97 camaro hood, let me know.

I'll sell my hood for maybe $400?

lol, thats pretty steep for a stock hood, considering a brand new aftermarket one is 150, and a cowl hood is 425. so yeah, ill pass on the $400 hood.

It was worth a shot  You can obviously guess what I would do with the $400!

yeah, lol, i need it to be near perfect. no dings even if possible. then i'd have it painted black for my friend. I still havent talked to him about it yet though, but im sure i can convice him. The main thing is that i want to try to do this as soon as possible since his car is for sale now, and i havent even planned when im going to be picking up my z28 from down south(probably late oct or early Nov.). If i had my z28 now, i'd just paint that hood black and swap that one, but since he'll probably sell the car before i get mine up here, i need another hood, then once i get my car, i can sell my mint stock blue hood to get some of the money back that i'm putting out now for a hood and paint. And if you're wondering why i dont just buy a cowl hood new for myself, in the long run itll be far cheaper this way.

stock hood($0-$150) + paint($100 my cost)+ $100 cash for swap= $200-$350
vs.
new cowl hood($425) + shipping(around $75) + paint($100)= $600

and in both cases i can sell my stock hood which is in good shape for about $100. so when all said and done, doing it this way would cost about $300 less than buying my own cowl hood.

my offer still stands :D

ok, lol ill keep it in mind, oh and if you're looking for a hacth someone is selling a white one off a 94 z28 for $25. check the classifieds if you didnt see it already. Thatd be worth it to pull your spoiler off yours now and paint the white one, and reuse your red spoiler. just to paint the hatch should cost about 150 bucks at most, but i dont know how much your looking to spend though.
