Results of the Compression Test
well i did the compression test today to try to diagnois any problems that may have developed since the trubo install.
recently the idle is a rougher, and there is a trace of white smoke coming out of the dipstick so me and my buddy did it today and this is the results cylinder result 1 165 2 160 3 165 4 160 5 165 6 155 7 45 8 160 as you can see cylinder 7 is all messed up  we poured a little oil into the spark plug hole and it went up from 45 to 65. so from that we concluded that it was a piston ring.\ what do you guys think and what should i do now. rering the piston, get lower compression pistons, stay with stock pistons or roll my car off a cliff  |
if ur inthere then low comp pistons
|
forged internals so you can run more boost
|
so does anyone want to forge the internals for me
i was already thinking of the lower compression pistons, but i don't have the funds to forge the internals. remember, i don't work  |
my aim is blacktoprecs if ya want help, or email me
|

sorry to hear about the trouble with the motor. sounds like a good excuse for a big inch LSx from TTP with a healthy cam and head combination :) later tim |
Welcome to the world of forced induction Gen 3's. I broke number 7 piston also.....
