97 MPG!!!!
Granted.... you may not like the manufacturer.... or the design....
But... pretty damn impressive! http://www.carpages.co.uk/mercedes_b...echo=922044596 |
damn, i ordered the wrong fuel cell. i wanted the one that uses the chemical reaction between hydrogen and oxygen to create electricity so my race car creates no emissions. no wonder mine was only 150 bucks.

115hp is impressive for a car with that kind of mileage.
i am still waiting to see what volkswagoin does with their hybrid turbo-diesel program. supposed to be online to create a 110ish mpg vehicle with extremely low emissions. someday i woudl like to see someone apply all this technology to racing. panoz once took a hybrid ford to lemans and actually did well for many hours before some major mechanical gremlins got to them. imagine the possibilities, a Z06 that kicks in an extra 200-250 ft/lbs when you go to WOT and gets better mileage than a base vette :D later tim |
call me crazy but i really like the design.

i like the idea of the fuel cells, but how would you "refil" your car? would you have to carry around these fuel cells with you? would there multiple ones in your car? (once one "dies" it switches to the next one) would there be a "fuel cell replacement station? and this kinda made me laugh: Quote:

HAL: I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that. Dave Bowman: What's the problem? HAL: I think you know what the problem is just as well as I do... |
