killed a 240 last night
 

my car has been such a pain in the ass the past month or so, and i finally got it working right so i figured i would take it out last night. my friend stopped by with his nissan 240 (i think its a 1992). he has never seen me beat on my car before so he kept trying to get me to race him. his car has a stock skyline motor in it. i think its an RB20 or some **** like that. he said that he wanted to see how badly i would beat him. so we go out on 208, and right off the bat he couldnt keep up with me. so then we turn around and get back on the highway. this time we lined up better and i down shifted into third, and i pulled a car on him with ease. then i get to about 2 car lenths and we both stopped. then we went to an empty parking lot and did some more stupid **** like donuts and burnouts. then we called it quits. he said my car sounded awsome and that he would hate to see how badly i would kill him if we ran from a stop and my car hooked. i very rarely do any type of illegal street racing but it felt really good.

he must be nuts for even entertaining the thought of racing you! your car is sick! :twisted: when are you gonna get that bad boy to the track and whoop on it?

it's an RB26DETT???? or is it a SR20DET ??

did it have two turbo or one...either of those engines are good....i want one for my neon.

its the single turbo one. dont get me wrong, that motor runs great its just that its stock. it makes alot of noise but doesnt move that fast. he will be the first to tell you that. once he does some upgrades it should really wake that thing up. but ill still kick the **** out of him.

it could be an RB25DET also, or i THINK early skylines had RB20DET's too. so he might be right about the RB20 thing..though the SR20 swap is most common. i ran into one on 23 a week or two ago, once i heard the BOV i knew i was in trouble.
