i was gonna watch it in my friends room like last week but we were high and it sucked, the acting seemed horrible and it wasnt scary at all, so we left his room, his roomate and 2 girls and went up to my room, i would like to see both of them though...

i saw 1 and 2 and i thought 1 was def better cuz in 2 you could predict more things...the beginning was like "get the hell outta here!!" so i mean the start was good but the whole ending was not something you would have expected....duno if i liked the ending much but ill tell ya one thing...there could be a saw 3.....i would say yes to going to see this tho...enjoy!

Most sequels suck. I was never into Saw, or **** like The Ring ... the Grudge was one of the better scary movies i last saw that was real good.

I heard the grudge was VERY predictable, I never actually saw it though :?

the grudge!? were you tripping on acid or something? the only reason that movie did so well was because it came out at the same time as saw 1 and was rated pg13 so tons of kids bought tickets to the grudge and snuck into saw 1. the producer of the grudge actually admitted that in entertainment weekly and its a running joke with the saw directors who were pissed. the number of good horror movies that are not rated R you can probably count on one hand that had an accident with a bench grinder and lost two fingers. the grudge, and most of the american versions of the jap horror movies, are ****ing lame, cliched, and boring. rent the real jap versions if you want to be disturbed. of course if your not a fan of horror movies you will think they are all stupid, or you just dont get it. not everyone does. saw 2 was a quality movie for what it was: a highly creative, low budget, independent sequel to a movie that was very good. if only half of the movies coming out today were written as well as the 2 saw movies are then there might be more movies worth watching. i did think the ending to saw 1 was better but only because i got that sinking feeling in my gut that you get when you are really shocked and ****ed over. i mean come on, that was a bitch wasnt it? you gotta be able to put yourself into the situation for horror movies to work or you wont get it. and anyone who says that they guessed the ending to saw 2 is lying to you flat out. thats my lecture for today, carry on.

I agree there, I saw the japanese version of the ring before the american... japanese version was a lot more freaky and scary and intelligent.

Same goes for the grudge... although I was piss ass drunk on a floor in an NYU dorm seeing that, and its sequel in japanese... but they were very freaky too! american one was lame as hell

i didnt really like the grudge but thought saw 1 was very good :shrug:

I thougt it was pretty good. I liked how they tied part of the first one into the second.
