anyone got any idea on what that would probably cost to paint black? ted said he would help me with the prep work...if it would be cheaper to spring the extra $125 for the carbon fiber, maybe ill just do that and not paint it 8)

yeah paint it, whatever it costs, i HATE carbon fiber... for 99.9% of people who buy that junk they have no need for it, besides, most CF spoilers hoods and body panels are never staright and just look crappy.

carbon fiber is 400, if you would pay 400 for a damn spoiler you're crazy

im gonna wait and watch on ClubGP and wait for someone to part out their car, and get it cheaper or already painted.

and tim...its not really rice, its not liek its a big aluminum double decker...it looks 10x better than the stock-boring-im-a-family-car spoiler. youd have to see it on a black car to know how nice it looks

im gonna get some VHT niteshades paint for the tail lights too, and put clear over that, should look pretty sweet.

CF is great if you do a whole body in it so the engine to weight ratio is better. However, having a wing thats CF...no point. Its not like you will see any difference. Speaking of which, why are you going to spend all that money on a wing? Isn't your car FWD :p ? Anyway, if I were you, I would do away with the wing totally. Spend that $400 on the engine. Get the car to breath right. Since you have intake, work on getting the exhaust right. Maybe some headers? A nice cat back? Thats where you'll start to see improvement.

Oh, and did you ever think... looks like a family car + fast = sleeper :twisted:

i wasnt really serious about the carbon fiber thing, way too much money anyway. im not going to buy the spoiler unless i can get it cheap (used). exhaust...have a cutout, dont need a catback, lol...i might get the cat flanged and run a test pipe in the spring, and headers are a waste of money ($700+ for a set).
