Any RWD car is made for drifting!

it is good to see some real cars getting into that series. actually may end up being somewhat interesting. i know that there were a few vipers and a guy in an el camino participating this season in the pacific coast drift series.

Dont forget Pontiacs GTO :D

I don't know what it is, but something about drifting just seems so stupid to me. I know it takes skill and a well set up car, but the idea of trying to not get traction on purpose is dumb. It's like racing without being the fastest. Kind of reminds me of synchronized swimming.:gheyfigh: Next thing you know, they'll be doing drifting drag races where the object is to keep your wheels spinning the whole quarter mile.

i don't see it as an actual motor sport. it jsut looks like great car control to me.

No doubt it looks like a good way to burn up $$$ tires and countless suspension compontents, but as long as the GTO keeps winning, I like it.
