TPI manual fans
i wanna put a switch in to run the dual fans manualy. i dont care if both or one fan run but i need atleast one. also which wire provides power to the fans, i cant get em to come on...

Not sure off hand but check out thirdgen.org...I'm sure a search will find your answer pretty quick. Make sure you use a relay in your setup so that you don't burn your car to the ground accidently.

You should fix them if they don;t work now. For every day driving, there is no need for a manual switch other than emergencies, IMO. |
I had a manual fan switch in my GTA. and then the relay burned out and I had to drive very fast everywhere so there was air going through the radiator :?. If you can, just fix it so it operates normally.

aren't 3rd gen fans ground switched? so all you would have to do is wire a switch, side tapping off the ground wire.

Tim's right. I forget the color of the wires, but both relays sit on the pass. side by the battery, I beleive it's the green wire (don't quote me, do a search on TGO as hardcoreZ28 suggested) tap that wire with a new wire and run it into the car to a switch and you're set.
