check engine code
 

i got the lovely check engine light on in the rustang, i cant give up the car to get checked out until the 28th, but is there anyway to read it myself, i know some cars you can make it blink in a certain numerical pattern er some ****, i hate fords btw

autozone or the like should be able to read the codes for ya

Auto zone only reads OBD II cars, his is OBD I. I have no idea how to read codes on the EEC-IV computer. If you want, you can have my mustang for free and swap computers. :lol:

I have a scanner that can read it if you can come to me

lol wat kinda mustang you have Ian? im not to worried about the light it still runs and thats great for a ford. ill bring it into the shop for a few things when i get my aunts explorer at the end of the month
