Attn Nlinnear: TTP Question

what happened to george? Rumor has it hes no longer with ttp? Whose doing your tuning now? :wavey:

NLinnear 12-13-2005 12:55 PM

The rumor is correct. Matt has been doing most of the tuning over the last 10 months though.

foff667 12-13-2005 07:39 PM

whats up with that? I thought that was one of the things george was supposed to be doing over there

NJSPEEDER 12-13-2005 08:07 PM

lookin for a new job bill? maybe one that isn't paying you my tax dollars to surf the web all day? lol

NLinnear 12-13-2005 08:38 PM

Bill, tuning has basically been Matt's job for awhile now. Now, if your good with a wrench, then we can talk. As soon as the new year hits, we'll be up to our necks in work.

I'm very good with a wrench. what are the hours?

seriously though, I'm an ASE certified mechanic.

NLinnear 12-14-2005 07:09 AM

It is really tough to find someone who knows their stuff. I've talked to a few shop owners of late. Turnover is the word that they are all telling me.

2001orangess 12-14-2005 07:19 AM

so where is george now?

the only wrench turning i enjoy doing is installing & removing my wideband before & after tuning people :D I've been tuning v6 & v8 cars for well over a year now and have been a beta tester for hptuners stuff for the past few months. If matt ever wants to hand over the tuning you know where to find me ;)

well, if you need a tech let me know. I dont exactly like working on minivans all day long.

The Fixer 12-14-2005 06:05 PM

Mike, if you guys need a part-timer around the shop, I'd be able to. I have some skills, and can do basic maintainence stuff too. I don't need even benefits, my fulltime job with crappy teacher's salary covers that.

Ian 12-14-2005 09:44 PM

ya see that. they should hire steve and I.

qwikz28 12-14-2005 10:01 PM

What has this thread turned into:clown:

We have a little time before we would need someone here anyway. I would rather have someone here full-time though.

Teds89IROC 12-15-2005 12:07 PM

I will boycott TTP till they grow some balls and stop whining about LT1's

(for the LT1 crew) ;-)

Hey Mike, when is the catalog on the TTP website going to be back online?

JW :D

V 12-22-2005 01:38 PM

TTP should hire Ian and I. I'd be interested in the spring if theres an opening then. I'm not SAE though, never cared to do it, mainly dealers want that. But i do know my stuff and a while back I worked 2 years at a shop in teaneck and could provide references. :-D
