test drove an AV6
i went to princeton honda yesterday and they actually let me test drive an accord ex coupe v6 6 speed, with every option minus nav. i have to say i was really impressed. nice car, fully loaded, solid shifter, perfect clutch, good amount of power (although not nearly as much as the LS1). the only thing i didn't like about it was the visibility - but that could have had something to do with the window sticker blocking my passenger side view. haha seriously though it seemed like i couldn't see very well directly in front of the car, and the A pillars looked a little too big.
but other than that, it's looking like i'll be rolling an accord in may. unless you can suggest another car that's less than 30k, coupe, at least 220 hp, manual tranny, and a nice interior. i really can't think of anything else that i would want to drive, except maybe a g35c, but i don't have 35 grand to drop on it (not to mention the astronomical insurance - one of my friends at school has one and pays ~5 grand a year, and she's a girl with a clean record) |

i wouldn't mind a maxima, but i don't like the look of the new ones and they're all sedans. |
accords do awesome burnouts. my friend has one in auto and i always take it out for joyrides and beat on it. not much fun though, but if you are looking for that kinda car it really is the best out there.

How can everyone overlook the GTO?

G6 GTP. Comes with a 6spd and a host of options that are right in line with the Accord 6. Same hp, more torque, and it has VVT as well. Stabilitrac is standard is as ABS. Lots of room front and rear.
Or look for a used 04 or 05 GTO 6spd. |

Yeah that's another good recommendation. I forgot about the G6. |
i too was guna suggest GTO, i think it has more then the 220hp you were looking for and cost should be the same with the GM incentives starting back up soon, plus u cant beat that blue with the blue leather and guages, i need a tissue:)

my aunt has a 05 accord. it pretty nice has a little pep. earlier this year she had an 05 altima. i like the altima way better. it handled and felt alot faster then the accord. she got rearended this summer and totaled the altima. the accord and the altima were both 6 cyl's.

He wants AT LEAST 220hp. I think the GTO really fits the bill, or the G6 GXP like Al said. |

another vote for the GTO or G6 GTP. You can get the G6 coupe with the supercharged V6 and a 6 speed manual transmission
|
why not an altima se R....if im not mistaking its just under 30k comes with a 6spd v6 260hp nice looking car....

keep in mind guys, this dealership sells at just over invoice, which for the accord is just over 25 grand, so i could probably pick one up for around 26. i'll probably go out and test drive a g6 for ****s and giggles, and maybe a mazdaspeed 6 (i know it's a sedan but if they'll let me drive it i might as well). i've definitely considered a gto but even if i can get one for 30k that's still a lot more than i'd be paying for an accord. i've also considered a used 3 series, but i don't think i'd ever buy a bmw out of warranty... |
why not a subie legacy GT? they are really nice cars
