Some new pics of the car up.

This was taken in the fall, but its finally up. Thanks to Jake ( QuikZ28 ) for taking the shot and Breezy for risking his life...its a long story.

I have another pic of the tiremarks left but as of right now its stuck on my camera. The camera also wont give me the second picture Jake took which was about 45 seconds later and about the point I couldnt see out of the car anymore.

Thanks Bob, I hope i can get those other pics up so you get a better idea of the spot I did the burnout in. Its what we call "Burnout Road" the whole thing is lines with nothing but rubber marks, its pretty awesome.

jimmyboy8301 01-13-2006 01:15 AM

that picture is cool as hell. did you take that by clifton mills, off 206?

bad64chevelle 01-13-2006 02:34 PM

No, but its close to there. I live like 22 seconds from clifton mills. Im on georgetown road. how do you know this area? And yeah thanks, I gotta finish those tires off this spring so there will be more pics/vids just like it. That road is a special road by me that not many people know of, and most anyone around here has done a burnout there or seen one done there lol.

burn out road is sorta like my driveway/garage

bad64chevelle 01-13-2006 04:30 PM

Yeah our driveway was the same for the longest time and still is, but after we blew 2 driveshafts and some other parts on cars in the driveway we decided its probably not the safest place to do those things lol.

WayFast84 01-13-2006 04:50 PM

I burned out in my garage with my car (wasnt really burning out more like a peel out) and I also burned out with my dirtbike in my garage...no tread:smile:

When the Chevelle was in the middle of its restoration, and the motor was up and running I was pulling it out of the garage and decided to light them up on the way out. The thing had 35 year old snow tires on the back of it, made for some intersting sounds.

i bet chunks of rubber flew off the tires as you were doing that

12secondv6 01-16-2006 10:43 AM

It seems like you have a traction issue ;)

BonzoHansen 01-16-2006 11:41 AM

No school better than old school. Looks great.

bad64chevelle 01-16-2006 12:10 PM

QuikZ-yeah the tires were pretty ****** and pretty much disintigrated (SP?)

12second-Traction, Whats that?

Bonzo-Thanks, hopefully as the weather warms up I can get it back out for some more pics and hopefully a video.
