so by your regulations, I'm north! |
bottom of the page to the raritan river, maybe. anytime anyone makes a reference to north jersey, i always think of north of the river.
|
Yes, I always think north of 287 or north of the Turnpike Exit as being "north"
Central ends southward of where that map ends. Somewhere south of Lacey Twp area. Central is Parkway exit 74 to 130. |
so I'm north!?!?! :?
|
I guess?
|
IMO:
Central = South of the Raritan River; North of the Mason Dixon, oops, I mean Ocean County, line. In reality, you could probably divide it up into 5 or 6 parts. |
Eh, Central extends below monmouth. Id say once you get into the 609 area...if you know what I mean, and I think you do.
609 = Alabama. |
WTF is wrong with the 609 area?!?!?
|
If you have to ask, you are part of them.
The rest of us know... |
...thanks
|
i was 609 back in the day, before they changed the area codes... representin 973 now :D

Kasey brings up a good point. I used to think, what the hell is wrong with 609? cuz i am from the 609. But there's the trenton area 609 (normal folks, that's me) and then the forked river 609..... woooo boy. I didn't understand the meaning of it until i ventured down to lacey township in the 609. Back wood's beach kids. They don't shower. They don't wear shoes. There's nearly friends with the jersey devil. And their freezers are always stocked with frozen fish heads for crabbing off the dock with a string.
|
Yes, THAT 609. West jersey 609, they are ok.
|
ohhhh ok that excludes me then lol. I didnt know 609 went that far lol
|
woot trenton 609 lol

I'm sticking by my monmouth/ocean border. Drive south down the parkway, right around MM97/96. The trees turn to pines and the soil turns to sand. That is the beginning of the pineland. Pinelands = Pineys. Pineys = south. |
whoa whoa whoa....97-96, thats cutting it close to where I am, and there AINT no crazy Pineys around here.
South of Lacey, there is no civilization till you hit AC. |
unless you take into account barneghetto. talk about crazy pineys.
