well went to court on that ticket finally. no points but a 438 dollar fine.they only accepted cash or check and wouldnt let me make payments.one guy had half but they threw him into slammer cause 400 out of 800 wasnt enough!money hungry bastards.all i can say is they dont wanna hear your side they just want the money. court = $$$$$$$$ so think before u drive . i was at the court house from 2-6:30.ok im done venting lol

You should've introduced the she-male to the judge... you woulda gone away with no fines, but he would hunt you down later once he found out

85? dont count on it my carless driving went for $489 in exchange for no points! in about the last 2 weeks ive given nearly a grand to the court system. $530 at the manahawkin court (speeding and passing on the right) and $489 in wayne. and yea i was there for about 3 hours in each.

what am i supposed to do just skip that section of the parkway? jump from 70 to 59? i wish i hate that area (the 60s) on my way up yesterday on the state troopers this time in a SUV was right on my ass all i saw was the grille, no light bar or anything i tought it was a dodge ram or something and hes on my ass for a lil bit then flashes hit lights and im like ****!! and am about ready to kill myself, so i go to pull over on the left shoulder and remember i got bitched out about it then pull back into the lane and the dude flies around me doin like 90 with his window down and the last part i hear is "THE **** YOU DOIN?!?!" and hes gone in like 2 seconds, if i got another ticket i think i would of saved my parents the touble and killed myself :lol: i sware they either just hate me, the color red of firebirds, cuz thats the only area ive ever had trouble in!

i had a cop i know contact the officer and hes guna let me plea not guilty to careless and guilty to unsafe with like a $380 fine and no points

same thing that happened to me, i would do anywheres from 80-100 on the GSP and for the first 3 months nothin even happened to me, then one night i was braggin about it and Bam! a month later a cop pulls me over!

im just happy i could pay $438.00 i love looseing money!!!!!! fin aholes thats ok 88ta back on the road now so ill just have to tear up the road a little more lol

im just pissed i got pinpointed out and had to pay 438.00 for something i was falsely accused of just got a cop in a bad mood i guess

same here, im damn sure the cop picked me out for the passing on the right/speeding cuz around me where "grampa" type cars and there i am a bright red, new firebird that most ppl think is a TA. not to mention this ******* was on my ass for supposedly 4 miles (i noticed him maybe a mile or 2 before it happened) and he had his high beams on. the other one i was lucky, but was pissed off that when i went to court for those tickets the old bastard judge kicked me out of the court room cuz i corrected him about the road i was on and where the actual incident happened.

get a lawyer next time. you only have to pay most competent lawyers (this is important: the lawyer MUST be from that area the court is in) at the most $500 for a court appearance. and they take care of everything. i've never had to pay the court when i've had a lawyer. it's almost like pay the lawyer or pay the court, and the court can get out of hand very quickly. also, a lawyer might give you a break for multiple appearances if they are within a certain time period.

best advice i can give is to get a lawyer the next time you get a traffic ticket. if you keep going on your own, the judges are going to own your license.

You got a careless driving ticket for a minor bump in a parking lot and you DIDNT fight it?! WTF man you could have gotten that dropped no problem!

I was just in traffic court on the 19th in Westampton. One piece of advice: WEAR A TIE and don't look like a punk!! I threw on a tie and sat patiently with everyone else. Those "dressed down" got a $50 fine more than me for the same charge. The reason for the lower fine: the tie showed respect to the court. The fines are at the discretion of the judge.

Yea def. dress up... I don't do ties but may if I need to in teh future, but even just wearing a dress shirt, suit pants, and nice shoes I had a prosecutor once thank me and comment how so few people have the decency to put in a little effort to look nice in court, and thanked me for showing respect...

On the other hand I purposely went as ragged as possible to Hawthorne for the ticket that I got for driving while suspended the day I got my license restored... the DMV ptu in the wrong date, I said screw them all this ticket has no groudns anyway.

But every time I had a ticket I deserved I dressed ncie. It also helps a LOT that with my dad's benefits from work there's a lawyer network but yea... gotta make due with what ya got.
