Don't forget to dry down your door weatherstripping and

spray lock de-icer in the locks tonight. With all the rain and now temps dropping there will be some frozen doors and locks tomorrow! I'm so glad I worked on the car earlier today while it was 54 degrees and I could keep the garage door open. Got all the locks and clips on the headers and re-aligned the y-pipe.

Thanx for reminding me Jeff! Gonna go out and do it when it stops raining here in the North.

It's snowing like crazy here in Ewing. It's sticking to everything already. I knew we would get snow once I had the car back up and running!

Doors are frozen and the battery is dead! Hurray!

Tsar 01-15-2006 12:46 PM

why the hell is your battery dead?

ar0ck 01-15-2006 12:47 PM

I have a serious electircal gremlin that I cant 100% figure out, and it causes a motor in my door to spin and just drain the battery over night. I heard it last night but I couldn't get into my car to stop it.

WayFast84 01-15-2006 12:55 PM

Nightmare is In the garage LOL!

trashman01 01-15-2006 01:41 PM

BigAls87Z28 01-15-2006 03:50 PM

ahhhh...
Remote Start standard- check
Keyless entry standard- check
Me not frozen out of my car- check

trashman01 01-15-2006 04:04 PM

it was only my acclaim, i beat that thing to a pulp, lol i was stuck in my driveway so i just shifted it to 2nd gear(hit 80mph in one spot) and kept turning the wheel till i got out. lets say there was smoke

jims69camaro 01-15-2006 04:13 PM

the cars being covered by the carport really helps out, usually. with the wind that accompanied that snow yesterday/today, it put a drift up against the '69. no worries about locks being froze, tho.

maroman88 01-16-2006 12:50 AM

locks were froze last nite...froze again this morning and i had to get in threw my hatch on the stang and when i got to work i had to sit in the parkin lot till it thawd enough so the power lock would pop up and then shoulder ram it open....refroze while at work and had to do the same again!

Brando56894 01-17-2006 04:07 PM

power locks own, remote start would be pretty nice too
