New Guage and Stainless LT1 ram air grill covers installed (Pics)

Hey everyone,

Just got done installing a few little things. I got my interceptor guage recently and its a really cool piece. I placed it in the very bottom of the guage cluster. I also installed Stainless steel ram air covers. They are subtle but look really nice in person. I also installed new hella housing and did the H4 conversion, but havent had a chance to snap some nice pics. The lighting difference is huuuuge over the stock crappy sealed beams.

very nice car, i like your setup.

What kind of numbers do you put down if you don't mind me asking? I am basically looking to do the samething only not change the heads, just get my stock ones ported.

Blackbirdws6 01-30-2006 08:47 PM

Little over 370 rwhp w/o spray at the moment. Tracking down 4 degrees of false knock at the moment. In time I hope to get the heads sent off to Loyd Elliot for a full port and such. I'm happy with the power at the moment and its a nasty beast on spray.

IROCZBeast 01-31-2006 05:47 PM

very nice, yea Loyd Elliot was where I planned on sending my heads to also.

Did you do all the work yourself or do you have a shop cause I'm still debating whether or not I want to tackle the project myself.

real sweet ride man!! Looks great very Proffesional!!!!

I did all the work myself in my dad's two car garage. We just parked it slanted and went to town. Took a good 3-4 days to do it with my dad helping. I had the computer sent out for a mail order tune and then drove the car with open headers to mufflex to get the rest of the exhaust put on. From there, drove the car to get tuned up in north jersey by cartek and that was it. It is doable if you have good mechanical know how, but an extra set of hands and good diagrams helps. I signed up to alldatadiy.com and that made a lot of things easier per uninstalling and installing. Good luck.
