Just went through one of the toughest things ever..

..watching a close friend around my age getting laid to rest.

Twenty Seven f'in years old :( Left behind a 3 year old daugher...

It's times like this I really wish I drank so I'd have some type of release or escape.

Move on, I just needed to get something out.

You may now return to your regularly scheduled programming

lol, normally I'd tell someone to go screw themselves when I hear "well it could always be worse" but that made me laugh out loud at the screen.

Thanks! :)

sorry to hear about your loss. if you need to vent you know a bunch of us around here are ready to listen.

Wow, that's definitely one of the hardest things you could have to do. We are all here for you if you need to talk. If you're close to the family, maybe you can help raise his daughter and be her father figure.

one of my friends died in december, he was only 21. I know how you feel and if you need anything, let us know. It's a tough thing to go through, but having people to talk to makes it a lot easier.

Thanks guys. I'm still in shock. I'm not gonna lie or sugar coat anything he was traveling too fast but he hit a patch of ice, hit a tree and rolled his vehicle 3 times. They couldn't do an open casket so they creamated him.

I'm a religious and spiritual person and all and I know things happen for a reason but here I am(along with others) left scratching my head wondering what the reason is.

That's often the hardest part for spiritual people. The question of why? Sometimes we are at a loss for the answer, but you just have to be trusting that he was taken from this Earth for a good reason, even though it may not be presenting itself at this moment.

i'm so sorry to hear that. i lost my best friend 2 years ago in a car accident (20 years old). he was driving on rt 80, apparently doing the speed limit and wearing his seat belt.....they aren't sure what went wrong, but he flipped the car twice. i'll never forget how i felt when i got that phone call. i know how shocking and unreal it seems, but at cliche as it sounds... he really will be there with you, giving you strength =)
