R&T just has a two page spread on it (not much for it being on the cover), and basically says what we've all heard already, i.e great looks, 400hp, IRS, 2009 expected production.

Yeah, but I think R&T said the opposite. Who knows what's going on with the GTO.

I say I got to drive an 05 GTO 6-speed a little bit last night and if they cancel those before the 5th gen comes out I will be ****in PISSED.

the GTO is going away and coming back supposedly. don't expect it to be gone too long.
the GTO doesn't have the same target market as teh camaro either, so i doubt it will have much if any effect on the number of camaros they sell.

I'm just sayin a non-vette LS2/T56 car is always a good thing

There will be a RWD car Pontiac. GM has a quad coupe GTO design, which might not be a bad idea. Holden wants a coupe, and so does the Mid East, China, Europe...so we could be looking at the Camaro chassis going world wide. Would be cool to see Camaro sold in Chevy showrooms in Europe.

Actually the camaro was sold in europe showrooms in Austria and a few other countries.

i agree, but it has the engine/trans combo the figit was looking for

SSR with the LS2 and 6spd combo is a very cool truck. Handles very well, and is very powerful. Only downside is the price tag.

and the h-h-hideous looks

Meh, always liked the look of the truck. If it was priced around what the GTO is, would have been a good buy.
But anyway, the SSR production is coming down to an end, if it hasnt already.
