Snow totals

So what's everyone got so far? We haven't gone out, but we're preojected to get 16 - 24 inches now. It's at least 12 inches if not more. Will get a pic of the measuring tape (cause a ruler will get lost and we don't have a yard stick) as soon as I get out there :)

deadtrend1 02-12-2006 08:43 AM

11 inches i think here

formulaMARK 02-12-2006 08:45 AM

enRo 02-12-2006 08:58 AM

I dunno, its hard to tell. It looks about 12 inches, but the drift up against my house is about 2 feet.

slasherbarb 02-12-2006 09:14 AM

about 12-14 inches here...front of my car is on the slope of the driveway, whole front is already cover to the middle of the hood...snow blows!!!

GP99GT 02-12-2006 09:16 AM

just looking from here i'd say its at least a foot, and its still coming down a bit....ill check later when it stops.

jims69camaro 02-12-2006 09:30 AM

6 inches to a foot and a half (drifts). it's not done yet.

ShitOnWheels 02-12-2006 09:33 AM

just measured on the deck, 16 inches. And not done til 3 or 4 pm! ;)

LS1Hawk 02-12-2006 09:38 AM

18.5, and they're saying 5-8 more by time it's over. But then 50 degrees by Thursday. Gonna be messy when it's melting.

misterjuice 02-12-2006 09:43 AM

Be careful Beanie...............don't drown in snow. hahahahha

JL8Jeff 02-12-2006 10:06 AM

We shoveled about 2-5" last night and now there's at least 16-20" where that was with drifting of 3-4' easily. My poor back!

jims69camaro 02-12-2006 10:13 AM

you guys might actually get to experience what we used to call "mud season" up in new hampshire. during the winter, the snow just kept building onto itself, so that when it got warm you had feet of snow melting with no where to run off to... hence, everything was mud for a coupla weeks. mud season.

trashman01 02-12-2006 10:21 AM

im over 16" and i just snow blowedmy driveway and its almost another 4 to 5" on there

We are a district that busses in kids from like 18 different towns in bergen county. My guess is they wanted to be on the safe side and give the streets an extra day to be cleaned. I also guess that many of those districts will also be closed.

Ian 02-12-2006 12:55 PM

19 inches
