Any Interest in a Roller 305 Shortblock?

Well, my 350 will be back from the machine shop tomorrow, and should be assembled in the next couple weeks. That means I need to unload my 305 shortblock (because I'm keeping the heads) that's in the car. You can hear it run for now, and even get a ride in the car. Here's the specs -

'87 roller 305 motor, redone about 25K miles ago. At the time, we installed new rings/bearings/freeze plugs, new roller lifters, fresh oil pump, had the crank turned .010 and polished, Cloyes double roller timing chain, and swapped in a Crane 2031 Compucam (208 / 214 duration, .438 intake / .452 exhaust lift on a 112 LSA). With S/R Torquer 305 heads and a TPI on top, it made 223 hp and 277 ft. lbs/tq to the rear wheels on a lean factory tune.

Would like to get $300 for the shortblock; will come with a balancer and stock timing cover. The cam and lifters alone cost over that much. I need to keep the oil pan for my 350. Post or PM with questions/offers!

Hahahaha. :D I figure if someone is set on keeping a 305, or needs a good-running engine quickly, this is just the ticket.

Yep, it's still in the car, and you can hear it run if you want. Again, this is for a complete shortblock (block, crank/rods/pistons/cam, timing chain, oil pump). I can even arrange a delivery for ya if you have an engine hoist at your place, since a shortblock will fit in the back of my Cherokee.
