well i just picked it up from my friends dads tranny shop in hackensack, i duno what he did (he wasnt there when i picked it up) but i have 3rd and 4th gear again and my dad said something about a corvette shift kit? lol. anyway my TPI swap is now complete for the most part after about year, then the rear blew and then immidiatly the the trans lost 3rd n 4th, so i owe my dad about 3 grand but the car works and is going back into daily driver mode, the mustang can sleep for now:) i gotta wash/wax it very badly as it has just sat outside for over a year now and remove the rest of my stripes and do a few odds and ends and itll be back to show car status lol

i wanna get it to the track this year and see what it runs with the trans all better and TPI, headers n exhuast and all the free TPI mods what you guys think itll pull?

373 posi rear
shift kit
free TPI mods (gutted air box, TB bypass.....)

it ran a 16.7 with the TBI and 373's and a trans that wouldnt shift into 3rd for ****

how bout now, i would like to get into the 14's some day lol

well ill be drivin it but i havent seen ya there this semester, im only there in the mornings

maybe its a corvette shift servo? isnt there something about swapping them into f-bodies?

congrats on gettin the car back....now you can sell shane that mustang :p i think we're coming to look at it this weekend...or something.

corvette servos and ****. its a stronger set-up made for more abuse but no means is a 800hp holding tranny

ok i got the specs and had my dad foot the bill for now (i owe him lots of money)

remanufactured 700R4 trans and converter with a corvette servo and a shift kit, it owns:)

i paid 1250 total, i think thats pretty good, Pat Barret Transmissions quoted me at 1200 for a normal rebuild
