Going to Island Tomorrow

Gonna get some base numbers with the near stock camaro, just to see what Im working with. Then the deep modding will commence. Just seeing if anyone wanted to head there as well. So far its just me and my sis's BF (and his riced out Neon)

WayFast84 03-18-2006 04:33 PM

pick me up?

enRo 03-18-2006 04:34 PM

Ur in ****ing Edison. Im not driving an hour to get you and then two hours from there to get to island, when Island is only a half hour drive from me.

79CamaroDiva 03-18-2006 04:37 PM

I'll be there, probably running around like crazy.

1/8... 8.949 @ 81.26
1000... 11.553
1/4... 13.802 @ 98.31

Run#2 Was against a riced out bubble-back civic. It mustve been his first time there considering he looked like he was 16 ... when we pulled up to the gate he was wiping sweat off his face LMAO

330... 5.792
1/8... 8.753 @ 84.07
1000... 11.257
1/4... 13.379 @ 105.81

Run#3 Was with a 79 Z/28 and got annihilated. Best run. But all in all, it was a good time. Bruce (tastyle88 ) was glad enough to join along.

R/T... .343
60'... 2.025 (Best)
330... 5.708 (Best)
1/8... 8.672 @ 83.92 (Best)
1000... 11.183 (Best)
1/4... 13.317 @ 105.18 (Best)

Not too shabby for a bone stock LS1 with only a lid, K&N, and a 3" catback with 2.73 gearing :-D I didnt go thru the burnout box obviously, and i didnt deflate the front tires etc . Full race weight too, with spare tire still in the trunk. So yea, good times :-D

ar0ck 03-19-2006 04:00 PM

Those are excellent times Noah for an Auto! Congrats!!!

foff667 03-19-2006 04:34 PM

those are pretty impressive times for a stock auto car running 2.73's!

eh...my 98 ran 13.3's@106 with a lid, shiftkit & borla catback with 2.73's and the ****** stock 235's so they are inline with what he should be running.

Yea I was expecting at the most 13.7 . My mouth dropped on the second slip when I saw 13.3

NP_00'T/A 03-19-2006 06:08 PM

Damn nice man ! Now i'm wondering wtf is wrong with my car since its pretty much the same stuff as you and i can only dip into the 13.7 area.
