Monthly Club Meets
 

hey gang,
i wanted to let everyone know about a few things we have going on.
i jsut added the may meet to the calendar, we will be heading back to the texas roadhouse on saturday may 27th. same plan as last time, meet around 11am, head inside around noon to grab some delicious food and some laughs.

i contacted the somerset county parks comission about heading to duke island park for our april meet in central jersey. sorry that april is coming together so late, ran into several dead ends before being offered an idea that looks like it will work out well. thanks to bigal87z28 and ian for suggesting the trip to the park.

i also have a long list of other special gatherings and meets that will be going up on the calendar this week along with the complete schedules for atco, island, bridgeport, and new egypt. we got a lot of racing going on around here :)

please remember that all of our meets are open to the public. invite your friends and family to join in the fun.

i am looking forward to seeing all of you at the meets and events that are coming up all around the garden state this season.

so whats the deal with duke island park? do we need a permit or anything? let me know since I'm the closest active member.

i am gonna get the rest of the info tomorrow. they have some nice sounding set ups for bbq's with grills and seating for 50+. shoudl eb a good time.
hopefuly i can get everything locked in with in the next few days and get it posted up ASAP for everyone. :)

We have a reservation from 11:30-4 on Saturday, April 29th.

Doh! April 29th is Englishtown swap meet Saturday and then Sunday is Cops N Rodders. That's a really bad weekend to do the April meet. I'd suggest the 22nd instead.

:stupid: but if its all set theres probably not much they can do :(

there were no really good weekends in april to pick from. every weekend is packed with other major events for people to attend. the weekend with the least going on was the 15th and that is very little notice and none of the good spots were available in the park that weekend anyway.
i think it will all work out for the best.

so now that the date is locked in, are you gonna make a sticky for it? It'll give people time to plan for it :)
