TPI Throttle Bodies

I beleive that the stock 305 throttle body is 48mm....and i was thinking of upgrading to a BBK 52mm , im thinking this would be a nice upgrade from stock along with my other small mods.

your not gonna need the larger throttle body unless you have the cam/heads that demand more air flow, you will see little to no difference

The stock TB is good for near or a bit over 300 hp easily. I'd save the $300 and put it towards headers.

band77one 03-22-2006 01:46 PM

ive got headers

Well then put the money towards something else...

If you just have headers and a few other basic mods, the larger throttle body really won't make any difference.
