How in the.....did you manage 1.8's on streets?

Mindboggling....Oh, I see a CTS!

98tadriver 03-27-2006 06:39 PM

1.96 on street tires, mods in sig i kno i can do better.

As a matter of fact, im going out 3-28-06 ATCO NJ lookin for 12.6 or better

Fastbird 03-28-2006 08:28 AM

Dayum!!! That's amazing. I've only ever been a best of 1.923 (six speed car at that) with a slew of 1.92x and 1.93x to back it up. How in the hell did you manage a low 1.8x like that?

Bandit 03-28-2006 09:02 AM

Best 60ft time with street tires was 1.94 (Goodyear D3's)

01ws6TA 03-28-2006 10:24 AM

nice, side note had no idea cts's weighed that much holy crap lol

enRo 03-28-2006 01:46 PM

2.025 (auto) on Firestones ... front PSI's were 26-27 and rears were 30. Might break 1.9's when I up the fronts and lower the rears.

Very good in the caddy man :-D

foff667 03-28-2006 01:56 PM

what did it run at the big end? Nice 60' on stock tires...near unheard of.

Firehawk 526 03-28-2006 02:39 PM

Best of 45 passes.......2.022 on Michelin Sport Pilot A/S 400 treadwear rating w/very small burnout.

Looks like some BFG's or Nitto's are in order! 10 bolt said NO to M/T Streets

ttpctsv 03-28-2006 04:10 PM

12.52@117 1/4 7.971 1/8@92.5 17 psi massive burnout that why i went through 5 rears {madman needs to hurry up}

Of course this pic was taken during launch, and the announcer said I was the only stock Hawk in need of a wheely bar

Tsar 03-28-2006 09:29 PM

Firehawk 526 03-28-2006 09:31 PM

I can't enlarge from my PC w/o violating max posting......darnit! Let's just say I am 1-3/4" lower in the rear than front (measured top fender to ground)

camarokev 05-20-2006 10:53 AM

want to know what amazes me? Mickey Mantle, before he screwed up his knees on the drainpipe in center field, was credited with a 3.1second time from home to first (90'). DAMN! My 60' times with my mostly stock v6 camaro were around 2.3-2.4 seconds.... add another 30' and the dude was as fast as my friggin car!!! Man, crazy stuff
