ls1 oil pan removal, in-car possible?

Is it possible to remove an LS1 oil pan while the motor is still in the car? like without jacking up the motor and all. the front 1/3 or so of the pan is cracked apart so im thinking it may be possible to unbolt and remove the rear 2/3rds. the warraty/insurance adjuster wants to look up in there, and yanking the motor isnt really do-able right this week.

Check LS1-tech....I think it can be done, but you have to loosen the K-member or something to gain the needed room to get the pan out???
