somone tried to steal my 86 today
 

i just get a call from my uncle at the shop saying somone busted my dr side window and the colum is riped apartwtf its the middle of the day

well i get another call back my starter kill saved my car,but they got the colum ripped apart and now he cant get my car started to put it back in the shop
i dont know if i more pissed that somone tried to steal it or the fact that he left my car outside while he wasnt there (giving the person/persons a chance to try to steal it

thats sucks, at leats they didnt get it. i got glass for sale if you need it.

from what i hear i need glass and a new harness.trying to find a away to get over to the shop so i can see what got damaged

i forget what brand it is but ill tell ay tom when i get to the shop,its old i boubt they make it anymore,it dosent have a remote its got a key like a soda machine key once u press the button in it disables the starter/ign system,even if u do get the car to turn over it wont fire,

imgoing now to check out the damage ill bb in liek an hour im relly hoping its not to bad

well i need dr side glass new colum/harness new center bezel around the radio possibly the console

I just picked up the top half of a console yesterday as well as the radio trim. If you want either one PM me and we can work something out.

Best security system? Unplug and take the coil wire with you.

Or hook up a switch (this has mult. purposes) that when off, its off, but when on, it completes the circuit between the A and B terminal on the ALDL. That way 1) it wont start and 2) Its easier to read codes :)
