Blown Head Gasket. Since my dad practically lives at all home decor stores especially Sears (which this compressor is from), hes gonna get the part ordered :-D . 12-13 gallon tank, 100psi... u can pretty much read what it says on the label. Not too shabby :-D

You can probably order the parts online.

No idea. I didnt attempt to fire it up. My dad is a mastermind in the small motors field ... so I went out of the house today without really looking into the problem, came home, and he figured out himself it was the head gasket. Didnt get into too much detail, it was beer:30 for him :-D

well technically, $0 is less than anything...so it does make sense. though i wouldnt use a phone book cover, but a piece of gasket paper instead

I always used a phone book cover or manilla folder for head gaskets in my 5hp briggs kart motor. Never had an issue with them at all....

Nice update. It was the head gasket... $9 part ... the bolts that hold the motor in needed to be loosened and the motor needed to be shimmied over, because it was slow-building + when the compressor cuts out at 110 and gets back down to 70, the pulley wasnt catching the belt so it would basically sit there and slip until you pushed on the motor. Now it builds 2x faster! The only problem with it now is the valve which is leaking air, which is prolly a $10 part ... then Im gonna strip it down again ... sand the tank, paint it, and its ready for use :-D
