383 STROKER LT1
 
Hey does anyone hear have this setup? i was thinking of doing this to my car but i would like to get some feed back on # at the track and driveability and all that other fun stuff

my buddy does in his 94 z28 drives fine gets about the same gas mileage as our other friends stock lt1, pulls hard, he goes threw an optispark a month but i doubt that has anything to do with the stroker kit lol

Et, Milage, and driveablity will all be determined by factors other then the cubic inches. A mild 383 shouldn't require allot more fuel then a stock motor.
Lingenfelter makes a 383 that is 49 state leagal, makes about 430-450 HP and runs on 28Lb injectors.

If you build a big HP engine with a radical cam regadless if it's a 350 or 383
the milage and drivablity become an issue.
