new best time for the car!!!

10.7@125 at atco yesterday during a track rental. that was with nitrous only on a small little 355 :) theres more tuning to be had on the nitrous/suspension though. my 60 was a 1.4 . got 17 runs in total and blew a head gasket on the last pass..... dont worry parts are ordered already and will be here tomorrow and the car should be back up and running by sunday night :)

camaroracer1992 04-27-2006 09:09 AM

it was a 10.6 katey might have been slightly confused, she is leaaring all this car **** gradually.

blown69rat 04-27-2006 09:19 AM

Either way, great run, sucks on the head gasket though!!

camaroracer1992 04-27-2006 09:53 AM

yeah ill be tearing it apart fri night, i have to check the block and head surfaces to make sure everything is still flat though, hopefully nothing got warped

radialtireking 04-27-2006 09:53 AM

Congrats Joe! I had a blast. I wish the track would have been prepped a little better though. At least i got my first N/A 9 second pass.

camaroracer1992 04-27-2006 10:28 AM

yeah track prep def couldve been better though. i think im gonna need to be converting to manual brakes soon on my car, that vacuum canister aint cutting it at the strip. ill have to talk to you about how you did yours.

What size shot? I can't see ya popping it witha small shot 225 and down...

camaroracer1992 04-27-2006 11:10 AM

the pass i blew the gaket on was a 250. i had the timing retarded as specified... maybe i shouldve pulled a few more degrees.

the 10.7 was on a 200 shot

Tru2Chevy 04-27-2006 11:29 AM
