definitly not my thing, i dont like how they just kinda hang there. nyway, good job on the execution cause i kno that personally, im a moron when it comes to wiring. good luck and let us kno how it lights up the road

Great odens raven... why in the hell would you do something like that to an otherwise nice looking car? And WOOD? Are you serious? You used WOOD on your CAR? **** man , ricers dont even usually stoop THAT low.
i gotta agree... plywood wtf mate?
be careful with foglights. foglights are made to light up very short distances and you will not be able to see more then a few feet ahead of you. hence the name FOGlights. looks good though
IMHO.........stock lights FTW
i like your ida man but not my style. thumbs up though.
Is that legal?
Not my thing personally, but looks pretty clean, my only concern would be hwo effective they are
i kinda like it. i woudl like to see how brite the lights are though.
the stock 3rd gen light area is cluttered with ****, you can see the brackets and all the screws in stock trim. this cleans that up a lot. i would suggest trying to replicate the wood portion with sheet metal though. i can see the wood rotting/splitting/cracking and letting the lights flop around. |
I can't help but check out that Mustang II parked on the side. Man, I can't remember the last time I saw one of those! :)
yea i have mixed opinions too, but they light up pretty well and once i get the clear GTS light covers that will cover up the whole pocket they wont look like they stick out as far i think they'll look better. ive seen people do this on there 93-97 camaros and it looked pretty good n i wanted to try it. As far as the wiring, these pluged almost right into the factory sockets, i just have to add a wire to the low beams so they go on with the high beams. And i dont know the first thing about cuttin or using sheet metal and the plywood was free and thats what really counted lol
That mustang is 80 HP of fury, right??
88HP lol yup, plus the smog pump delete! and alllll the mustang decals
Its ok.. I personally would've gone with some kinda bigger ones, or the Halo Squares. To each their own. Must've been a pain to install.

noah, i agree but i didnt wanna spend big bucks cuz i didnt know how it was gunna turn out, so i just bought the cheapest/best looking ones for the money, i wasnt about to hack up an expensive set and then it not work. once i get some more money ill upgrade to sumthin a little bigger and brighter, BTW i dont drive this car to often so im not worried about practicality
those Cobra II's are sooooo funny but they sure did make this ugly body style actually look nice |
I dont like em that much, I agree with Boon, the stock look FTW! Maybe do the H4 upgrade instead
~Ted |
already had the H4 and my wiring didnt like them
I like the stock look better.
interesting idea. as it stands now, i like stock more, but i have to see this when you install the covers and diminish some of that gap. i think it looks more agressive this way.
Eh. I would not want to use cheap foglights to light the way in front of me. I bet they won't shine nearly as far as a properly aimed set of stock headlights.
H4 conversion FTW! - Justin |
