Greetings From Power Tour!

Just a quick stop in a hotel lobby to say what's up from Power Tour. In Roanoke, VA right now. Literally thousands of cars and the coolest people ever. I suggest to anyone who wanted to do it this year that you make it a goal for next year. I"ll post more details when I get home but it's a blast. Looking forward to seeing some of you in PA tomorrow and NJ friday.

camaro2you 06-07-2006 06:45 PM

See you tomorrow! You got the IROC?

qwikz28 06-07-2006 07:27 PM

hes got the iroc alright :)

i'll look for you around this weekend paul. what happens in the event of rain?

Ian 06-07-2006 07:30 PM

bring an umbrella

I'll see you on Friday Paul. I'm glad you're having such a great time

HardcoreZ28 06-07-2006 07:37 PM

Yes white IROC with NJ plates....17" chrome IROC wheels. In the case of rain the show must go on. We've only had 10 minutes of rain on the whole trip so if we hit rain tomorrow or friday I won't be all that disappointed.

People literally line the streets in all the local towns and sit in their front lawns for hours watching and filming the cars coming through. Driving through VA today was the coolest cruise I"ve ever done. When I get home I'll post all my pics.

Next year we're planning on building a sweet wagon just for Power Tour. Space in the cars is at a premium. Can't wait to see some of you soon. Come find me or call my cell if you have the number.

awsome!! ttiwwp

Really wish now that my car was available and I had Friday off. Rolling in with hundreds, if not thousands of people would rock - well until the jam to get into E-town stretches for 7 miles and you burn gas while waiting. T-tops and the right tunes would make it worthwhile.

Next year...pending a good trans, and money to pay for the gas im gonna go through. Im pretty sure my dad wants to make the long haul with the chrysler. I know for a fact it can make it and get 25 MPG so maybe ill be going with him

BonzoHansen 06-07-2006 11:29 PM

The M21 isn't going to help mileage much. :)

Ian 06-07-2006 11:33 PM

I think he was talking about his dad's 33 chrysler....but I dont know how a 426 hemi with a 727 would get upwards of 15 mpg, let alone 25

qwikz28 06-07-2006 11:37 PM

the chrysler has a TPI and a 700R4 out of a vette IIRC

Ian 06-07-2006 11:56 PM

ahhhhh, chrysler, not plymouth....I are smart!
