I got the complete SRT4 exhaust for free. Thanks boon!!!! It went on my 04 SXT neon.

The stock exhaust had one piddly little exhaust tip... I hated it. The new exhaust has dual tips, no muffler (weight redux :wink: ), 2 resonators to make it quiet, and the cat is slightly larger.

It took me about 3.5 hrs for the entire swap, including one run to the auto parts store and cleaning up two tool boxes in the middle of it.

Now, firebird has high flow cat, 1 resonator and thats it
Neon has high flow cat and 2 resonators.
The benz...... forget about it!

At idle it sounds pretty decent.... not ricish which is surprising. When I'm cruising around it actually sounds like a loud SRT4 minus turbo. It droans bad at 2,800-3,200 rpm's.... but my bird does that.

It also pops like a MO FO!!! The bird does that too, I like it.... but if I let off the gas and cruise at 2,000 it just pops like a machine gun

Oh yeah, after the install and my first test drive a damn mustang picked on me within 2 mintues!

Granted.... it was a 96-97 GT 4.6L auto.... so I coulda given them a run for their money... but I passed.

srt4 exhaust reminds me of the incon TT intake lol you've proved you've always been a ricer at heart though James so this is nothing new.

damn his neon is louder than my SRT4 with no cat, and side exit exhaust...lol damn ricer......SLOW DOWN!!!!!

awsome! makes me want a neon ;) how can i get a hold of the 1 pipe spliting into a dual exit? I want to have an exhuast system like that and get rid of the dynomax that sounds like crap.
